Sonya Pitcock, Principal of Curtis Middle School, was recently selected as the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) Region 10 Outstanding Principal of the Year.    TASSP honors exceptional principals and assistant principals from the twenty regional Education Service Centers across Texas. School administrators are nominated and chosen by their peers within their regions based on exemplary performance and outstanding leadership. As a Region 10 winner, Sonya Pitcock is now eligible to compete for the state title of Texas Principal of the Year.   "I have had a wonderful career in Allen ISD as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal, supported by dedicated educators who have helped me grow over the years,” said Pitcock. “I am honored to receive this recognition from TASSP and my peers and look forward to continuing to serve the Allen community."
