Chromebooks
Before school, during lunch, and passing periods Chromebooks must be in the student's backpack.
Chromebooks will be kept in backpacks unless a student has teacher permission to have it out.
All students must purchase Chromebook insurance each year.
Students will not touch other Chromebooks.
Students are responsible for all web based searches and communication on their device.
If the device breaks take it to the Campus Tech.
Bring the device to school every day fully charged.
Bring your charger to school every day.
Do not put stickers on the device.
Do not eat or drink near the device. Be careful if you have a water bottle in your bag with the device.
Other Electronic Devices
All other electronic devices must be kept turned off unless being used for instruction.
No wireless headphones or earbuds are allowed to be used between the hours of 7:30am-3:30pm.
Wired headphones or earbuds are allowed in class with permission from the teacher.
Smart watches are classified as an electronic device and may be taken up and collected as a cell phone.
Acceptable Use Policy
Students are prohibited from possessing, sending, forwarding, posting, accessing, or displaying electronic messages that are abusive, obscene, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, damaging to another's reputation, or illegal.
This prohibition also applies to conduct off school property, whether on district-owned or personally owned equipment, if it results in a substantial disruption to the educational environment.
