Board members are elected at large to three-year terms representing the entire AISD community. Early voting and Election Day polling places are established by the Collin County Elections Administrator.
Trustee elections for Places 1, 2, and 3 were held on May 4, 2024. Voters elected three community members to serve on the Allen ISD Board of Trustees.
The following individuals were elected to three-year terms on the Board in their respective seats, also known as Places:

Veronica Yost - Place 2
John Holley - Place 3

The annual Allen ISD Board Academy is designed for anyone considering public service on the Board of Trustees as well as those that would like to learn more about local school district governance.
School Board members will explain the roles and responsibilities of serving on the Board, review the state-required training requirements, and discuss the difference between Board oversight and day-to-day operations of the district. Information will also be shared on the guidelines, logistics, and timelines for running for a Board seat.
The 2024 Board Academy was held on January 10, 2024.
