FutureReadyFriday is a highlight of our seniors and their future plans. This highlight is about Terynn Turner, a graduating senior from Allen High School. Terynn is a double blocked wing in the WINGS Program. After high school, Terynn plans to attend Collin College for two years before transferring to UNT.
When asked about favorite memories, Terynn mentioned mentoring, her physics class from junior year, and WINGS camp during her senior year. Terynn believes Allen High School has prepared them for the future by allowing her personal growth, particularly through involvement in WINGS. Terynn emphasized how WINGS helps students break out of their shell, develop leadership skills, and learn basic social skills crucial for their future.
For new students at Allen High School, Terynn advises reaching out to others and making friends. Terynn encourages students to push past their comfort zones, as high school is more enjoyable when shared with others.
To be considered for an upcoming #FutureReadyFriday highlight, seniors may submit their information at https://www.allenisd.org/futurereadyfriday
