Allen ISD Athletics Inducts Hall of Honor Class of 2023

The Allen ISD Athletics Department recently inducted into the Hall of Honor its Class of 2023 to be enshrined in the Athletic Hall of Honor at Allen Eagle Stadium. 

Candidates are ex-athletes, employees, teams, or supporters of Allen ISD who graduated from Allen High School at least 10 years ago.

This Class of 2023 inductees are:

  • Cody Gambill - Honored for his time on the Football and Baseball teams, being voted team Captain in Football, leading the team in tackles and interceptions, and being voted defensive player of the year his senior year.
  • Terry Gambill - Honored as the Allen Eagles head coach for five years, and being State Champion in 2017, with a head coaching record of 65-4
  • Toni Hedgcoxe Garcia - Honored for her time in Basketball, Track, and Volleyball. She was also a part of the Tallenettes and was Tuffy for a year. She received All-District honors is basketball her junior and senior years, and in track her sophomore, junior, and senior years.
  • Valerie Lauver Moll - Honored in Cross Country and Track, and currently still holds the record for the 3200m
  • Marcus Shavers - Honored for his time on the Football team, 2004 All-State, All Area, All County, All District, Sophomore of the Year.
  • Maddie Szeryk - Honored for her time on the AHS Varsity Golf team, and for bringing home the first individual state championship title for girls golf in 2014
  • Jeremiah Williams - Honored for his time on the Football and Track teams, for being part of the 2008 State Championship Football team, and for holding 4x2 record in track from 2008-2017
  • Jonathan Williams - Honored for his time on the Football and Track teams, and for having 2,078 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns in a single season.
  • Jake Wortham - Honored for his time on the Football and Baseball teams.
  • Todd Wyckoff - Honored for his 17 years as assistant Wrestling Coach at AHS
