The Boeing Company honored 10 Allen ISD students on May 15 during the Boeing North Texas STEM Signing Day ceremony. Just like college signing days for athletes, 20 high school seniors (10 each from Allen ISD and Plano ISD) signed letters of intent to pursue two or four-year degrees in a science, technology, engineering, or math field. Kim McLaughlin, Allen ISD Assistant Superintendent for School Leadership, joined Boeing executives and the seniors’ families and friends for this special ceremony to celebrate the next generation of STEM innovators.
