Allen ISD Educator Wins $10K for Foundation For Allen Schools!
HilltopSecurities is thrilled to be honoring Allen ISD’s Ann Widmer with a $10,000 donation to the Foundation for Allen Schools and prizes for a classroom in the district!
Ms. Widmer was one of five Gold Prize winners in HilltopSecurities’ third annual Hilltop Hunt, an online treasure hunt for Texas K-12 educators with a chance to win a share of $50,000 in prizes.
In addition, Crystal Wright, a counselor at Curtis Middle School in Allen ISD, was a Silver Prize winner in the contest, earning prizes for a Curtis classroom.
“HilltopSecurities has a deep commitment to supporting education, and the Hilltop Hunt is a fun way we can give back to Texas schools and honor the teachers who have such a positive impact on our future generations,” said HilltopSecurities President and CEO Brad Winges. “When we started the Hilltop Hunt back in 2021, we were excited to see how many Texas teachers and students embraced the contest and what it meant to their districts. It’s become an annual tradition we look forward to each year.”
“We’re thrilled that two educators in Allen ISD won prizes in the Hilltop Hunt this year!” said Dr. Robin Bullock, Superintendent of Schools. “We are grateful to HilltopSecurities for their continued support of Texas public schools.”
